It’s Historic Sunday at Union Chapel on June 28 at 10:30am. In conjunction with our current exhibit, “Havens House: Witness the American Revolution,” SIHM board member Lenore Berner will give a talk on the history of the Havens family, life on Shelter Island during the Revolutionary War, and discuss a tapestry from the exhibit depicting one of our historic forebears—Mary Conkling—among other topics. For more on the presentation, including guest musicians Jeffrey Wentz and Rusty Kransky, see this week’s “Shelter Island Reporter” story at

We hope to see you there!
And stop by the Museum to see the exhibit Tuesdays - Fridays, 10am to 2pm and Saturdays, 9am to 12:30pm.
