There was a whole lot of craftiness going on ... and maybe even a little bit of spontaneous karaoke & dancing. The barn was rocking, to say the least! It was definitely an evening of laughs, creativity and community, and we want to thank everyone who attended for bringing your spirits of adventure by being willing to try something new. I think everyone left with a sign they love and are excited to show off.
Thank you so much to Jackie and Doug Valentine, owners of Words on Wood, for making the trek from Connecticut to teach us how to make these beautiful sign creations. And thank you to Kathy Lynch, our DJ extraordinaire, for being our island connection to help us pull this all together.
A special thanks to Billy Schmidt, owner of Shelter Island Wine & Spirits, for his generous donation of wine for the evening.
