We are seeking Docents to lead 45-minute walking tours of The History Center campus. Volunteers are needed Thursdays and Fridays between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, and on Saturdays between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Tours are weather-dependent and could be moved inside, depending on the comfort level of guests and Docent, and the capacity of The History Center at the time. Social distancing and face coverings required.

Other Volunteer Opportunities:
Collections Care:
Assist the Collections Coordinator and learn about caring for historic textiles and artifacts. Work may include handling, cataloging and researching items. Training is provided. Flexible schedule.
Clerical Assistant: Work may include answering the telephone, filing, copying, and other basic office tasks. Training and support are provided.
Events: Depending on the event, we may need food servers, admission staff, or set up and break down assistance, etc.
Havens Store Attendant: Greet and assist store customers. Ring up sales. Assist with tracking inventory and merchandising.
House & Grounds: May include heavy-lifting.
